On one fine day, out of the blue, a lot of blues filling out the sky.
All the sudden, some dragons comes in and decided to “play”.
Only three? On screen, yes.
In this case, someone will do a high-altitude data feed for shot evasion.
Then again, ’221 carries more firepower.
It’s a good idea to soften up the front.
Reverse order firing sequence, this.
They too shows off their arms.
And waste no missile to spare.
With six pocket-tactical nukes and incendiaries, that would really soften up targets.

wow epic story and editing man!! you inspire we to do some editing this weekend keke!! Can’t wait for second part!
Thanks and… oho~!
This, I shall wait warmly.
Next is part 1.5. As the actual is after the holidays. =D
One does not simply sent a dragon out of boredom o wo)a
Or sent out just “fer teh lulz”. XD
Really awesome effects there. I almost didn’t expect them to survive but I guess Jegan are sturdier than I thought, with all the firepower and all. Wonder if the one who sent the drones is strong…
The Jegans are good units, all depends on who’s piloting them. In this case, the pilots are bloody-minded. =)
You’ll see a hint for that.
Wow. At least a blog post with the Jegan trio not getting smoked. Those Gafrans really must be weak… XD
They’re not the usual textbook-standard grunts. XD
The Gafrans are strong, actually. But the Jegan pilots are… not the usual ones. =)
Nice work!
Are those cloud/smoke effects I see there?
Thanks. =)
Yes, those are the standard Photoshop cloud effect.
Love this
Thank you. =)
As for the Jegans, it’s part of their activity…. I think. Dragon roasts? I like to think so~
Yep, its part of their “normal” activity. Maybe. XD
It’s dragons ala-flambe. =)
So many pretty special effects!
I should learn how to do stuff like that sometime, but I am fail at such.
Battle scenes should have GLORIOUS BEAMS. =)
All using layers, outer glow and cloud effects in Photoshop.
Those are some nice effects, and the military-style dialogue is just awesome, reminds me of Battlefield / Call of Duty.
Thanks. =)
Ah, the military-esque lines due to revisiting an old game called MechWarrior 3 from 1999. =D
Now the real question remains: WHERE THE HELL IS GUNDAM WHEN YOU NEED ONE?
There ain’t any gundam in this story, this is the front line soldiers and their “everyday” life XD
I think Syful there already answered your query. =)
Gundams: They never come when you need them, but they always come when you need them not *cough*JesusYamato*cough*.
Uuuu~ THAT one… >.<
oh my, the wonders of photo-editing
The wonders of layers. =)
Grunts are VICTORIOUS on this day…… until they took a dragon to the knee…
They are victorious. For now…
They did took something to their knees, but it isn’t a dragon but… something else…
The effects you put up for this story is really awesome! Really makes the story looks cool!
Thanks. =D
I just loved them beams.
this must have took you forever to edit! freaking awesome action all over, grunts are victorious utilizing special tactics!
Took me several days of rolling and editing. lol.
Special tactics aaaaand losing some of their weapons…
Silly AU suits, this is what you get when you fight UC mobile suits made for war!
Nice, I ended imagining all the sounds effect and added soundtrack too.
Yes, the Jegans are made for that purpose (along with some civilized purposes).
I’ll left the sound effects to the readers imagination. XD
As for the sound track, I’d say the track titled Mobile Suits from the Unicorn OVA should fit the bill. =)
Oh lol, yes I was imagining that song along with others from Unicorn.
Quite an epic battle with all the pretty effects! The Jegans hold on surprisingly well! :O
Does the title hold a reference to something? It’s not something like “Of Mice and Men” right or am I thinking too much?
The pilots are Zengar-trained (make that Zengar’ed). =D
Umm… to be honest… that title never came to my mind when doing this post… That is, until now.
