Most modern games are more on graphics and social types.
In those days, we have no Whatever-Ville or any social networks. Where games are games and also a gem to play. Skimp on the total-ultra realism part, and focus on the fun aspect of gameplay.

Ah MechWarrior 3… That was the only MechWarrior game I’ve played but I loved customising weapons and payload. Gotta admit that I spent a lot of time just doing that XD
Speaking of games, the good ol’ games are a big difference compared to the social network ones or ones geared for casual gamers (not necessarily a bad thing but different). After blitzing through most of the Ace Combat series from the first game for this half-year, one sure longs for these kinds of games easily.

I end up with all my ‘mechs to be energy weapons-based ones (one could never go wrong with an ER-PPC boat ‘mech).
I could never get used to social/casual types of games… To me, they’re… aimless. If I want to be aimless (for awhile) I’ll just hang out with my friends in real life in doing idle chat, thanks.
