Arcueid’s magical form, Phantasmoon here is one of the taller figma. Then again, Arcueid is a very tall girl in the Tsukihime story.
Rear 3/4 view.
Her long flowing flexible scarf is very Kamen Rider-like from the Showa period. It adds a certain flair to her.

Arcueid is very playful (yet down-right dangerous if angry), her face follows Takeuchi-san’s recent Eri Takenashi styling. (thanks to Hiroy-raind for the correction)
Upper detailing, gold trimmings.
No foul-ups on the gold trimmings, also, I find her arms easily popped out, which is still tolerable.
Lower detailing, skirt and high boots.
Her skirt follows (adult) Mikuru’s skirt design (two pieces, front and back) and made from soft PVC, her skirt gave nearly unrestricted leg movements.
Rear lower torso detailing.
There’s one particular issue with mine though. Her upper torso easily popped out from her lower one. This is the EXACT opposite of my Marisa’s issue. I noticed that the socket is a tad too WIDE to fully secure the joint. I don’t mind minor paint slip-ups but I do mind joint issues. Max Factory folks, you reading this? If you are, good, buck up your QC.
Long slim scarf.
The scarf could be made bent downwards, but that reduces her dynamic look.
I decided to pass on Phantasmoon, but I have the feeling every time I rewatch Carnival Phantasm, I’m going to want her again…
Maybe Type-Moon will actually get around to that Tsukihime remake and MF will finally make a Figma of sweater puppies Arcueid.
Good news, there a PV of Tsukihime remake, or at least Tsukihime at the recent TYPE-MOON Fes (not yet uploaded to internet), along with some prototypes of Nendoroids (and a lot of other news: http://gglightwater.wordpress.com/2012/07/07/type-moon-fes-announcements-7-2/).
The bad news is, some character designs has been changed, and Arcueid has a mini skirt now… ;=_=
The weird thing is, the prototype nendoroids shows the old designs, hmm…

Hmm, rather than calling it “recent Takeuchi style”, I think it’s actually “Eri Takenashi style”, the author of the Take-Moon manga.

Ah customs, but what to do, it’s called procedures (unless you wanted someone to bring in a package of toxic liquid).
My only exposure to Acrueid comes from Melty Blood and her appearance as an enemy servant in Fate/Extra so seeing her like a magical girl is kinda odd to say the least.
I think this is a very playful figma, the expressions she comes with are quite nice.

Arc is very deadly to players who tends to do blitz-style of attacks.
She is, sadly it is marred by a flaw… Her torso tends to pop-out.
Heck yeah, Red Arcueid/Warcueid is my main on Melty Blood XD
If you combo/set-piece correctly, your opponent might’ve stunned from the sheer power. =)
They shouldve made the Ilya Mahou SHoujo as well as Rin XD. I’m pretty sure you’d have a blast with the faceplates of that figma like what Miette said
My only issue here is it’s white

Yeah… soft PVC white… That’s why I readied with a tube of pimple remover. =D

The snarling face reminds me of the old figma of haruhi of the baseball costume, i remember she has a goofy faceplate that looks similiar haha! XD
The grinning face of sports Haruhi is more like “I’M GONNA RAEP YA” face. XD

She’s fun yes, imagine the fighting scenes you could pull off.
The scarf thingy, instead of they made it bent downwards as you wished it would be… if it’s me, I would prefer if they offer “part-swapping” instead, something like the “neck tie” of SH Figuarts Kamen RIder The First – 1 & 2….
Part-swapping is fine by me, as with any flexible material with no support, it’ll sag. Sooner or later.

She design makes her very active yet nice.

Haven’t watched Carnival Phantasm but I did encounter Arcueid from Melty Blood, and subsequently the presumably “non-existant” Tsukihime anime. Hence I’m not too used to seeing such a comical version of her ^^; I just noticed that the top half of Phantasmoon’s clothings actually resemble Achetype: Earth
The lack of accessories can be a bit of a downer, but the lack of bulky clothings means the articulations are not hindered.
And the random Stig comment there is truly unexpected!
Since she’s the legendary moon princess, the dress design is very appropriate. =)
Ah… her items… well, at not as bad as… Ilya’s one… (only a hawk/eagle/bird of prey?)

Not really a Type-Moon person but this figma looks quite decent. Almost wanted to get her due to her design alone but decided against it, didn’t want to gamble with Max Factory’s at times shoddy QC.
She is pretty good and yes… her QC… really… ARRRGH~!
Still looking for ways in fixing it.
Ahaha I didn’t even notice she had a scarf until you pointed it out! That thing is slender~ =3 Hahaha all in all looks to be a really fun Figma, especially with that angry face.
Yeah Figmas have great size discrepancies to sort of follow their proportions from the anime/manga..personally I prefer Nendoroids more as everything is kinda standardized. =3

Yes, their sizes are sometimes I went: “Whut? Bigger? Smaller? Reallistic? O_o”, upon seeing the actual figure.
man that scarf looks so thin..I’m afraid that it could broke easily. Is the scarf flexible?
