This guy has some good detailing.

Like most Revoltech designs, the blocky/chunkiness is very apparent, especially for his vest .
Mid-body detailing.
The skirt armour are joined via small Revoltech joints. Both his nodachi (long sword) and wakizashi (short sword) are detailed nicely but only his nodachi can be unsheathed.
Lower legs detailing.
Yes, finally. Kaiyodo has added toe-joints!

His backside looks very busy due to his business “tools” of the trade. Also, he has one sawed-off Tanegashima (Japanese matchlock gun).

The gun is held via a hook-like part and attached to a Revoltech joint, which the same goes to the swords.

He does looks like he’s unamused or “I don’t give a damn” face.

Now this, what brings this figure to life. Coupled with moving eye parts for both faces, the number of exploitation are… endless.

That guy sure does seem pretty cool. Almost wish I knew more about the original source so I’d have more of a reason to get this figure! But hopefully Revoltech will keep up the trend, since my last Revoltech was so disappointing.

From what I gather about him is that he’s a brutal and skillful swordsman, having a penchant of cutting his opponent’s heads, and he soft-spot with women combatants (he advises them to quit fighting telling them to start a family, after beating them).
Quality-wise, he looks pretty good and very minor paint mishap (on mine that is).

I never knew about the existence of this particular Revoltech Shimadu… first time ever I saw it… I think maybe because I am lazy to read all the latest updated news about Gundam and Figures industry lately as I immerse myself too much in guilty pleasure of watching Japanese porn LOL…. nonetheless, depsite that freaky face, I think this is a decent Samurai-like figure and in fact that freaky face can be a good friend to the pervert Woody of Shewsbury Land…. imagine both of them standing in front of Figma Asahina Mikuru… hehehehe…. use your imagination….
By all means, this guy is more that its worth. His HAPPY face and the movable eyes makes it even more. NYAHAHAHA~!
