I know it’s a very “late-ish” review, one is that she had a “slight” mishap to her waist joint.
Marisa is the second Touhou Project character that had been produced in figma form. Her full character information can be found here.
Her figure is reproduced quite nicely and not mistaken this is from the Touhou – Imperishable Night version.
Yes, her skirt is one massive piece and layered. An apron on top, the main skirt and an under-skirt, her ribbon at the back is from a soft material. She’s quite stable yet easily to fall down whenever there’s small gust of wind.
The hat can cause major stability issues. Due note that her large ribbon for the apron is a bit soiled due to an emergency operation (with a hint of panic). Had to use a pin vise in prying out the joint that was broken (a nightmare for any figure owner).
Marisa comes with three facial expressions, notably her default cheery look, her wide grin and a shouting expression. All this captures her personality, IMO.
Her hat can be remove, and typical with any long-haired figma, her head and arms movements are bit… restricted.
Attention to detail are also present for her (black-white) shoes. Extra care must be exercised in removing her shoes, that will be shown later.
In order to secure her hat, a transparent plug are used. This means her hat is exclusively used by her.
There’s a socket. Don’t worry, this socket here can be closed with…
There, all closed up. 🙂
